Christine Bulguryemez awarded 2019 Dean’s Outstanding Administrative Service Award

March 20, 2019 by Dee Keilholz

The Faculty of Arts & Science has selected Financial Officer Christine Bulguryemez as this year’s winner of the Dean’s Outstanding Administrative Service Award. Congratulations, Christine!

The award is given annually to an administrative staff member who has earned the respect of her or his colleagues and whose outstanding contributions to administrative service have made a positive impact on teaching, research or general administration.

Christine has been with the Department of Statistical Sciences since 2011. A highly regarded team member with a strong work ethic, the department’s leadership and faculty nominated her for her outstanding teamwork, professionalism, initiative and the strong positive impact she has made within her area of work, and beyond.

To cite one of the nominators: “With her positive attitude and strong work ethics, Christine influences tremendously all those she interacts with, from staff to faculty and, not least, students. Christine’s efficiency is only amplified by the unassuming and modest way in which she accepts any thanks or praise.”

Over the years, Christine has played a central role in managing payroll, assisting with financial planning and processing, easing the admissions process by sourcing and providing relevant information to faculty and students, and untangling complex – and often urgent – funding-related issues.

Congratulations again! We are very lucky to have you on our team!
