Distinguished Lecture Series in Statistical Science (DLSS)
CANSSI Ontario hosts the prestigious Distinguished Lecture Series in Statistical Science (DLSS).
Established in 2000, the DLSS invites leading scientists from across the field of statistical sciences to share their expertise. The series takes place annually and consist of one general and one specialized lecture by an internationally prominent statistical or data scientist.
CANSSI Ontario at U of T is administered by the Department of Statistical Sciences.
One of the first independently operating statistics departments in North America, our department looks back at a rich history that involves many leaders in statistics.
