We are thrilled to announce that Professor Radu V. Craiu has been appointed as the Interim Chair and Interim Graduate Chair of the Department of Statistical Sciences, effective July 1, 2023. This is a welcome return for Professor Craiu, who had previously served as Chair between the 2018-2022 academic years.
Professor Craiu has long been a vital member of our community, renowned for his exceptional contributions to the field of statistical sciences. As we welcome Professor Craiu once again to his role new roles, we would like to express our deep appreciation for Professor Michael Evans. As the Acting Chair and Acting Graduate Chair from July 1, 2022, until June 30, 2023, Professor Evans has played an instrumental role in Department’s growth.
