This workshop will celebrate the outstanding contributions of Professor Nancy Reid to the field of statistical sciences and honour her extraordinary leadership and dedication to the profession in the past 45 years.
Professor Reid is an international leading figure in statistical sciences. Her influential contributions to research and exceptional services to the profession define her as an inspiring role model for young statisticians and scientific researchers. Throughout her entire career in Canada, Professor Reid has made seminal contributions to our discipline and has been instrumental to the flourishing of the Canadian statistical community through her leadership and dedication.
This workshop also aligns with a series of celebration activities for the 50th anniversary of the statistical community in Canada, organized by the Statistical Society of Canada.
