This past Friday, November 17, 2023, was a significant occasion at the Department of Statistical Sciences, as we welcomed a curious crowd of undergraduate students looking to step into the world of graduate studies.
With a series of informative talks from Andrei Badescu, Director, Masters of Financial Insurance, Scott Schwartz, Director of Data Science Programs for Statistical Sciences and Lei Sun, Associate Chair of Graduate Studies. The panel offered an overview of the diverse range of graduate programs.
Following the panel, attendees had the chance to mingle and connect during an open house and networking segment, complemented by a spread of light refreshments. Our program Administrators were on hand at their booths, ready for in-depth discussions and to answer all queries.
At the Department of Statistical Sciences, our dedication to nurturing the upcoming generation of statisticians, data scientists, and researchers remains unwavering.
