Description

These writing workshop cover strategies for clearly and persuasively presenting your research in a NSERC and/or Vanier research proposals (as well as OGS research proposals). The strategies will be illustrated using excerpts from past winning proposals. The workshop series is divided into multiple individual workshops based on research disciplines; you should choose the session that best reflects your discipline and schedule by completing this form: https://forms.office.com/r/zD3RdidsR5

The workshop is in person and will not be recorded.

On the form, you can also sign up for one or more separate virtual peer-review sessions, which enables you to get (and give) feedback on proposals in a small-group setting (in breakout rooms). Peer-review sessions have consistently been praised as extremely valuable by past winning applicants.

After each workshop, I will share my slides and a related handout to attendees.

Feel free to email me at daniel.newman@utoronto.ca with any questions.
