Advice for First-Year Students
Students who are interested in enrolling in an actuarial science program must take MAT137Y1 (Calculus) in their first year.
Due to enrollment priorities and popularity of those courses, students are also strongly recommended to take MAT223H1 (Linear Algebra I - a second-year course open to first-year students), STA130H1 (Intro Stats), and a first-year computer science course (CSC108H1/CSC120H1/CSC148H1) in their first year.
Visit the Faculty of Arts & Science calendar for more information.
