Xiaofan Xia

I am a Ph.D. student broadly interested in statistical learning theory, optimization, and applied probability. My research aims to understand the theoretical foundations of modern reinforcement learning algorithms and machine learning algorithms. I am particularly drawn to problems that lie at the intersection of theory and practice, where probabilistic tools provide insights into algorithmic behavior.
