Biography
Pak Hop Chan is a third-year PhD student in the Department of Statistical Sciences, specializing in actuarial science. He is interested in data analytic methods applicable to general insurance. In particular, he is looking at modelling and pricing of cyber risks and insurance. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science degree from the University of Hong Kong. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing and watching soccer, badminton and baseball, photography, as well as appreciating anime and manga. He is also involved in the Statistics Graduate Student Union for the past few years.
