Biography

I am a first year PhD student working with prof. Gwen Eadie, prof. Roberto Abraham, and prof. Patrick Brown. My research focuses on the newly-emerging
interdisciplinary field of astrostatistics, where I will be working on devising methods for detecting ultra-diffuse galaxies in the nearby Universe to better understand galaxy formation and dark matter. My reserach interests include spatial point process, Bayesian inference and computation, as well as statistical pattern recoginition.

Education

I obtained my MSc in statistics and HBSc in mathematical finance at Western University
