Biography
Skye is a newly hired Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, who will begin teaching in the Fall 2025 term. She is currently completing her PhD in Mathematics & Statistics at Queen's University, where she earned her MSc in the same field. Prior to Queen's, she completed a B.Sc. (Honours) in Mathematics at Trent University.
Skye believes anyone can enjoy the process of developing an understanding of statistics... Yes, even if you might think you're "not a math person!" As she settles into her new position, Skye is excited to explore the topics of alternative assessment and universal design, and she aspires to deliver courses that are accessible, welcoming, and fun.
