Biography : 

Luis is a PhD student in Statistical Sciences advised by Elena Tuzhilina. Before joining UofT, he graduated with a double degree in Mathematics and Data Science from UPC supported by a CFIS scholarship, and received a Master’s in Applied Mathematics from the same university. His research interests concern problems in the intersection between statistical theory, high-dimensional geometry and computational methods.
