The Beatty Scholarship is a one-year top-up award to provide NSERC students with additional funds above stipend.
Value and duration
The value of the award is $5000 payable in one lump sum by cheque to directly to student, usually in September.
Eligibility
- For students entering the first year of a Master’s program or first year of a Doctoral program
- Students who transfer to a doctoral program are not eligible.
- Students must hold an NSERC award.
Conditions of the award
- The Beatty Scholarship is for one year only.
- The award is payable in one lump sum by cheque directly to student in September.
- The student must be registered for 14 weeks on the fall session; otherwise repayment of the award is required.
