Biography

My research focuses on the newly emerging interdisciplinary field of astrostatistics, where I will be working on devising methods for detecting ultra-diffuse galaxies in the nearby Universe to better understand galaxy formation and dark matter. My research interests include spatial point process, Bayesian inference and computation, as well as statistical pattern recognition.

Education

I obtained my MSc in statistics and HBSc in mathematical finance at Western University
