Biography
I received my PhD at the Kurt Gödel Center at the University of Vienna, in pure set theory, and have previously worked at University of Bonn and University of Copenhagen. Currently I am a Research Associate at the University of Toronto. My research interests are descriptive set theory (which studies definable sets of real numbers), forcing, large cardinals, and applications of set theory. Recently, I have become interested in applications of nonstandard analysis to statistics, in particular, statistical decision theory.
