Biography
Dena Firoozi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistical Sciences at the University of Toronto. Previously, she was an Assistant Professor at HEC Montréal, the business school of Université de Montréal. Before her tenure at HEC Montréal, she was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Statistical Sciences at the University of Toronto. She earned her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Systems and Control Theory from McGill University in 2019. Her research primarily focuses on the theoretical development of mean field games and stochastic control, and their applications in financial markets.
